(PRINT REFERENCE.) Viero, Theodoro; publisher. Naturam Referens Patet ars Sed Utrinque Magistra (title on frontispiece). Engraved frontispiece and 47 (of ?) line engraved plates comprising two states of portraits and anatomical subjects, the first plate in a simpler engraved style by Francesco Bartolozzi and the second plate with richer shadow and detail by Marco Pitteri, perhaps a variant of Piazzetta's "Etudes de Peinture" of 1764. Oblong folio, 297x410 mm, contemporary leather-backed boards, worn; dampstaining to right margin of many plates, scattered light soiling and foxing, marginal loss to frontispiece and first plate, appears to lack front matter, contemporary owner's signature on inside of front cover.<\t>Venice, circa 1800
