Large thick folios, original covers bound in rear of each volume, prints bound in chronological order. Lacks Larsson's St. George and the Princess (1896) and a few others, mostly the extra plates that the publisher added to the volumes. Contains a few of the volumes of Rembrandt and Sergel reproductions published by the Society in the early 1900s. Stockholm, 1887-1928

The Swedish Fine Art Print Society''s journal founded in 1887 to produce prints by subscription. The 41 years covered here contain prints by Sweden''s major artists of the time including Carl Larsson, Anders Zorn, Julius Kronberg, Gabriel Burmeister, and Carl Petersen. It served as a distribution channel for Carl Larsson''s prints; the first etching called Profler (Profiles) appeared in the 1888 issue; numerous others, including some in color are contained in these volumes.
