An otherwise unknown Latin American memorial to the Haymarket defendants. Features portraits of the eight Haymarket Bombing defendants, with an allegorical figure breaking her shackles and crushing a crown, the laws, a sword, and "fanatismo religioso." Below is the caption "Recuerdo dedicado á los mártires de Chicago, victimas de la burguesia, por su amor al bienestar comun." Four of the defendants were executed on 11 November 1887; one other committed suicide in prison, while the other three served jail time. None in OCLC or otherwise traced, none found at auction.
