Seemingly made by a worker or employee, including well-composed photographs of trains on the move (several marked as Union Pacific Railroad), the tracks under construction, workers posing in front of enormous engines and on the tracks, the surrounding landscape, and images seemingly made from the trains themselves, all in the stark and beautiful landscape of the American West. Silver prints, the images measuring 4 1/2x6 1/2 inches (11.4x16.5 cm.), and the reverse, the sheets slightly larger, mounted recto/verso, some with identifying captions and the date, in pencil, below the photographs.
