This print of a buffalo head was offered to Union Pacific customers for ten cents postage in an 1890 advertisement, which described it as "a buffalo head in Sepia, a very artistic study from life. . . . characterized by strong drawing and wonderful fidelity. A very handsome acquisition for parlor or library." We trace none at auction or in OCLC.
