Large lithographed map on two sheets joined. 14 1/4x39 inches overall, wide margins; soft creases, minor stains and a bit of partially reinforced damage at left edge but generally very nice; ink inscription from the maker at upper left: "James F Baldwin from Geo. R Baldwin Feb. 24, 1847"; in the same hand on verso: "Map of Country from Buffalo to Mississippi River compiled by Geo. R Baldwin 1846" (slightly damaged). Boston, 1846
