Including one photograph with an entire suffragette speech written into the negative; an explosion during a mountainous road construction; the rock that caused the death of Miles Monihen; a human skull and crossbones; and an advertising card for a local photographer featuring a woman's floating head. Silver prints on postcard paper, the images measuring approximately 3 1/2x5 1/2 inches (8.9x14 cm.), and the reverse, a few with the photographer's credit and/or captions in the negative, and less than half with handwritten captions, in pencil and in ink, on verso; many postally used.
