A group of 7 real photo postcards of the Museum of Modern Art, including exterior shots and installed sculptures.
The architectural views include one exterior image of the front of the building, the terrace of the members' penthouse, the Japanese Exhibition House (interior) by Junzo Yoshimura and presented by the America-Japan Society, and a view from the south of the House in the Museum Garden. The sculptures include Jacques Lipchitz's Figure (1926-30), Gaston Lachaise's Standing Woman (1932), and Aristide Maillol's The River (c. 1939-43). The images are credited to Soichi Sunami, Alexandre Georges, and Ezra Stoller. Silver prints on carte-postale paper, the images measuring 5 3/4x4 inches (16.4x10.2 cm.), and slightly smaller, and the reverse, each with the Museum of Modern Art credit, address, and caption, and nearly all with the photographers' credit, printed on verso. 1949-1950s
