Additional Details

Rice was a Presbyterian minister in Bardstown, KY who found himself in an increasingly public war of words with the local Catholic church. When he published an article about the mysterious disappearance of a nun, a law-suit followed, and then this virulently anti-Catholic tract. Kentucky Imprints 1074; Sabin 70848. Not seen at auction since 1981.
