Expanded second edition, with index, by "that Pious and Worthy Divine . . . Pastor of Boston in New-England." The waste-paper endpapers are interesting in their own right. The front endpapers consist of 3 copies of a printed Baker family birth register listing five children through 1658, each with astrological notes. The rear pastedown is a page from an unidentified theological tract. Both seem impervious to modern text searching. Sabin 17076.
