These classic black church cards include many early cards with images of the minister, preacher, evangelist or gospel group. One very large one is that of Adam Clayton Powell Sr, Harlem minister and political "kingmaker," circa 1920s. Gospel groups include the Flying Clouds Quintette, The New Silvertone Singers and The Spiritual Singers from Fairmont, W. Virginia. A wonderful and sentimental collection.
