Additional Details

Two editions were printed in Norwich, CT from the Bradford Philadelphia edition and were sold by both Spooner and Timothy Green in New London. This edition, the latter of the two, was published at the end of February 1776 and includes the Appendix and Address to Quakers. Although among the most widely printed and distributed pamphlets at the time (an estimated 500,000 copies), 1776 editions of Common Sense have become increasingly scarce.
