Additional Details

A nice group of issues with much Revolution content: the April issue contains news of Lexington and Concord; the June issue an account of Bunker Hill; and the August issue a printing of the Olive Branch Petition. However, condition varies. The January issue is a second edition, the February issue lacks the portrait of Goldsmith, the March issue lacks the plate of music and the April issue lacks the plate of the spinning machine. The 2 maps of Boston are present in the June and August issues, but both in poor condition. The plates of electrical and threshing machines and a frame house are present in their respective issues.
