They departed from Kansas (where they visited Dodge City), drove to Colorado Springs (and Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, and Royal Gorge), drove on to Denver (Estes Park, Rocky Mountains), then landed in Utah (Salt Lake City), and concluded the trip in California (Yosemite, San Francisco, Monterey, Glendale, Santa Catalina and Hollywood) and returned via Arizona (the Grand Canyon), and New Mexico (Painted Desert). In additon to picturesque landscapes, the group enjoyed photographing animals and visited the Alligator Farm, Monkey Island, and Ostrich Farm. Silver prints, 4x2 1/2 inches (10.2x6.4 cm ), and the reverse, many with handwritten captions on recto. Thick oblong small folio, leatherette; ties. 1939
