Three of the images show street scenes in San Francisco's Chinatown, with a general street perspective and two images of the same store taken from different angles. The fourth shows what appears to be a Chinese woman peering out of a small "crib" or room. And, perhaps, the most interesting is a photograph of lepers, apparently taken at the "Pest House"--a ward specifically set aside for the ill--who are in the company of several Caucasian gentleman.
