A detailed promotional piece for a new filing system, basically a set of spring-powered clipboards with index leaves which could be inserted into a file cabinet. In the rear are three pages devoted to the company's Rapid Roller Copier, an early ancestor of the photocopier using a wet-transfer process. Rochester was the early hotbed of the photography industry. Office Specialty, which later became Yawman & Erbe, operated in that orbit. The printer of the catalog Andrew John Wegman (1849-1916) was first cousin to Rochester icons John and Walter Wegman, founders of the Wegmans supermarket chain. We trace no other examples of this catalog in OCLC, in Romaine's trade catalog bibliography, or at auction.
