number 67 of 134 copies on rives; ex-collection anthony field, with an original ink study for the frontispiece, "boxers" and additional prints and drawings from the series. Field was the founder of Gallerie 18 in Paris, and an agent and specialist of Dufy and Segonzac. In addition to the frontispiece sketch, which measures 13x10 inches, the additional plates here include three engraved studies not in the book (Boxe, Knock-out, and Clinch), an original ink and wash study of a boxer's head, an engraving of runners in the woods, and another of an ice skater. Each drawing signed and titled by Segonzac in ink, lower margins. Various sizes, the largest being 7x5 1/2 (image) on larger sheets.
