Includes some better patriotic titles (Adams and Liberty, Columbia and Liberty and Dead March & Monody) and two slavery-related ones (The Wretched Slave and The Galley Slave). Most are published by J. Hewitt, but others include G. Gilbert, B. Carr and I. C. Moller. The manuscript material includes mostly social music, but Handel's water music and a Beethoven waltz as well.
