Some or all of the dozens of entries relate to the care of enslaved laborers, including one named as a Negro and many others named only by first name, including prescriptions for cathartics, treatments for diarrhea, eye wash, and "examination vagina Adelaide." 3 sheets spanning services from January 1835 to December 1837, each receipted by the physician's representative in January 1838.
