Additional Details

"Dear Charlie, enclosed you will find a ticket to Uncle Tom's Cabin, a Dramatic Exhibition, to be given at Clarksville July 5th inst. You will find it highly entertaining besides instructive. I hope to see you at the entertainment in company with your parents, yours Conrad J. Crouse [name not clear]." A touching piece of Uncle Tom's Cabin memorabilia. Someone, possibly a member of the cast, writes sending this young man a complimentary ticket, and adds a small drawing of Uncle Tom to the envelope.
