A printed warrant for the arrest of Benjamin Mingo, "laborour of colour" for an unpaid debt from 1824 owed to Harvy Chan of Fall River. Together with the original receipt for seven dollars and sixty-eight cents, signed by Mingo with an "X." 4to and slender 8vo, creases where folded; edges worn, red seals on the first piece. Rhode Island, 1824-1830

The person to whom Mingo owed the money was either very lenient in waiting to get paid, or it took him a couple of years to track Mr. Mingo down.
