Additional Details

The first title relates the story of a West Indian who joined the Moravian Mission in St. Thomas, and was converted. The second tells the tale of an English traveler in New York who comes upon a slave working in a field. He asks him how he feels about being a slave. The slave replies that he and his wife and children are happy and well taken care of. Two happy Negroes it would seem, the latter however is no doubt fanciful.
