An auction catalogue for the slaves of the Tranquility Plantation on the Santee River north of Charleston, but lacking the final leaves showing the related Harrietta Plantation. The slaves of the "Tranquility Gang" are apparently listed in family groups, with first names and ages shown for each. A few are listed with "Qualifications" such as "Gardener," "One hand," "Crippled feet," or "Sickly, tailor."
