Reverend Baldwin states that the Negro Woman that I bought from Josiah Vail shall have the privilege of going free when she shall pay the principle and interest money I gave for her . . . and that the two children I had with her shall be free at the age of twenty-five years, the one being three years old . . . and the other one year old the twelfth day of this instant."
