Slaves named in the inventory include Charles, Ezbel, Ruth, Price, Jin, Sindey, Lucey, Eadey, Danniel, and Mol, along with their assessed values ranging from $1.25 to $3.33. Their late owner, the Rev. Nathan Hall, was an Episcopalian minister who lived in several Virginia counties before settling in Charity, Patrick County, in the western part of Virginia.
