Additional Details

"Thirteenth thousand," printed in the same year as the first edition, of the memoir which formed the basis for the award-winning 2013 film. This copy was owned by George B. Cooper (1864-1948), a white farmer of Dakota, MN, who stated that it was "picked up from an old book mart in New York City, cost 3.25" in 1930. He described the book as "the key to Uncle Tom's Cabin" although it was published the following year. The clippings on the front endpapers relate to Uncle Tom's Cabin.
