probable fourth american edition of this interesting anti-slavery alphabet. Normal in all respects, but for a woodcut of Wedgewood''s noted kneeling slave ("Am I not a Man and a Brother)" with the whole of Cowper''s poem, "The Negro''s Complaint" printed at the end of the work. Welsh,643.4; Shaw and Shoemaker, 4441. Quite scarce. OCLC locates no copies of the 1800 edition, five of the 1812 and only 3 copies of the 1814.
