The slaves of Jefferson Davis's brother Joe, standing in front of the main house on his plantation, near Davis Bend in Mississippi (supplied title). Carte-de-visite. Damp-stain to reverse with some minor bleeding through to the image, but still quite a clear example of a rare image by a Confederate photographer.
