(SLAVERY and ABOLITION.) (COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL.) In Commemoration of the Extinction of Colonial Slavery throughout the British Dominion in the Reign of William the IV, Augt. 1, 1834. Silver-plated pewter medal with the above inscription on one side, with the obverse showing a former slave with arms spread and holding broken slave-chains, 1 3/4 inches in diameter; plating mostly worn off, small drill-hole above the image of the former slave.
