These four photographs are all on similar mounts, and apparently share a common provenance. They bear modern pencil captions on verso placing the scenes in Rockerville and Deadwood, SD. One of them, depicting a gold mining camp, bears an original inked photographer's stamp on verso reading "Keystone Studio S D." This studio appears to be unknown, but Keystone was a mining town just south of Rockerville.
