Additional Details

The Nebraska Indians were a long-running barnstorming team featuring several Cherokees, which took the field from 1897 through at least 1914. Playing a schedule of mostly white town teams in 1902, they won 136 games and lost only 16, according to the memoir by team manager Guy Green.
