This team was formed by captain Johnny Watts of Beloit, WI after he left the Harlem Globetrotters in 1939. They toured extensively on the barnstorming circuit, were renamed as the Harlem Aces in 1949, and continued touring under the leadership of Watts through at least 1955. This poster promises the same sort of entertainment as the Harlem Globetrotters pioneered: "Clowns of the Hardwood . . . Clever Ball Handling, Rapid Fire passing, Fancey Plays, Trick Shots." No other examples traced.
