Group of 4 images of American suffragettes, including women with umbrellas advertising a march on Washington, two women holding balloons at a rally, two women carrying a banner in the street, and a humorous, posed image of a young woman reading a newspaper with the headline "Votes for Women." Ferrotyped silver prints (3) and one printing-out paper print, from 6 5/8x4 1/2 to 8 1/8x10 inches (16.8x11.4 to 20.6x25.4 cm.), and the reverse, one on a later mount, 2 with captions identifying the subjects in the negative, and all with news agency labels, various notations, and hand stamps, on verso or mount verso. Circa 1910-15
