Additionally Signed by Sheila Legge, David Gascoyne, Roland Penrose, Hans Arp, George Reavy, Humphrey Jennings, Jacqueline B., and John Bigge(?). The show was organized by Roland Penrose, Herbert Read, Andre Breton, Paul Eluard, Man Ray, E.L.T.Mesens, Salvador Dalì and others, most of whom also contributed to the exhibition. It was opened by Breton, attended by several thousand during its run, and included lectures by several of the contributors. "Dalì's lecture was delivered whilst wearing a deep-sea diving suit. Nearly suffocating during the presentation, he had to be rescued by the young poet David Gascoyne, who arrived with a spanner to release him from the diving helmet."
