This archive represents the second ship named "Gripsholm." The original had been retired from Swedish American service in 1954. This twin-screw vessel was launched in April 1956 and began her maiden voyage on 14 May 1957. She later became "Navarino" and then "Regent Sea." She sank en route to the scrapyard in 2001.
