Pair of small-format albums with nearly 80 snapshots made of a television screen in the aftermath of John F. Kennedy's assassination. These sobering photographs primarily document JFK's funeral, and include several images of Jackie Kennedy in her black veil as well as Robert Kennedy, one of Caroline with Jackie in front of the casket, the walking procession in Washington, the flag-draped casket, service, and burial at Arlington Cemetary. A few early images appear to be a look back at November 22nd (the album opens with a shot of the screen title "The Four Dark Days"), with shots of the Kennedys' arrival and motorcade in Dallas. The end of the second album shows Lee Harvey Oswald's murder, including one perfectly-timed shot that includes Jack Ruby (the last image in the set). Silver prints, each 3x4 1/2 inches (7.6x11.4 cm.) square. 16mos, oblong bright red plastic albums with plastic spiral binding; each photograph slipped into a plastic sleeve. 1963
