Additional Details

An excellent piece of textile-printed cartography, the present map is derived from an unidentified source; it may or may not have had an Eastern Hemispheric counterpart. The tables in the left spandrels and the "American" and "Asiatic" figures at right all within a thin star-patterned border lend an agreeable balance and aesthetic to complete the design of this curious independently produced map.
