(THE ENDS)
A choice group of 34 delightful snapshots featuring men and women bending over, mugging, mooning, and otherwise facing away from the camera, about half in groups and half alone. Includes groups posing in the surf on the beach, two women on bicycles with the caption "Tail Ends," friends leaning over and perched on walls, posing in front of a "For Rent or Sale" sign, three photographers bent over apparently with their cameras, a print with the caption "Guess Who?," and another with the caption "This was taken and we knew nothing about it, Ain't it fierce!," two with the photographer's shadow in view, one featuring a woman on the top of a ladder, and many of the subjects peering through their legs. Silver prints, sizes ranging from 1 1/2x2 1/2 to 4x3 1/2 inches (3.8x6.4 to 10.2x8.9 cm.), and the reverse, some with notations and dates on recto or verso, in ink. 1920s-1950s
