Watercolor, ink and wash on board, heightened in white. 489x349 mm; 19 1/4x13 3/4 inches, on board measuring 21 3/4x12 1/2 inches. Signed "Chas Addams" in lower right image. Damp-stain visible on verso, 1/4-inch paint splash near lower edge. Matted and framed.
This cartoon was subsequently published on page 20 of the Addams compilation book titled Homebodies (Simon & Schuster, 1954) and also appeared on page 110 in The World of Charles Addams (Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., 1991)
