Together, 2 cartoons for The New Yorker published September 29, 2014 and November 2, 2015 (with inventory sticker on verso), respectively. Ink and wash on paper. The first, 229x305 mm; 9x12 inches. The second, 279x356 mm; 11x14 inches. Both signed "Toro" in image. Accompanied by two pages of preliminary sketches and notes per cartoon, 4 pages in total.

Additional Details

Toro (1982 - ) is a Kansas City-based cartoonist who published his first cartoon in The New Yorker in 2010 and quickly became a favorite contributor. To date, he has published over 150 cartoons for the magazine. In 2016, two of Toro's cartoons were featured in a juried exhibition at the Society of Illustrators' annual Comic and Cartoon Exhibit.
