The Booth letter, to "Dear House," complaining of sick mother. 1 1/2 pages, small 8vo, written on a folded sheet, "St. James's Hotel" stationery; small burn marks touching text and beside signature. The Terry quotation: "'There's nothing either good or ill / but thinking makes it so.' / Shakespere." 1 page, oblong 8vo; vertical folds, marginal staining.
