Group of 9 American tintypes, comprising 3 whole-plates, including a studio portrait of sleeping dog (with two rifles alongside him) in a customized Adirondack wooden leaf frame, a second of a boy in a velvet suit, and the third of three siblings; 2 half-plates, the first depicting the proprietor of a rural grocery posing with his dog and a number of locals (in a preserver and mat), and the second a studio portrait of a beautifully attired child; a sixth-plate of a doll in a white mask; 2 tinted ninth-plates of kids (in a Union case), in a custom frame; and a printed marriage certificate with a pair of portraits of the bride (from Bangor, Maine) and groom (from Portsmouth, New Hampshire); the doll and Union case are framed. 1860s-70s
