Additional Details

Final specifications agreed upon between the I.M.M. and the Gibbs Bros. Co. for the reconditioning of the great liner. The specifications are broken down into 12 different sections. These sections appear to have been issued individually as well as in this collected form. This is suggested by the inclusion in this lot of a separately published work which appears as Section VI in the collected work ("Electrical Installation"). Also included is a separately published work which does not find its way into the collected specifications (Specifications for Articles and Materials to be Supplied for the Equipment of the Steward's Department). Mounted to the front pastedown of Volume II is the following notice, "Notice. This copy is the personal property of Mr. William Gibbs and must be returned to it's shelf immediately upon termination of it's use."
