Printed program for the first rowing regatta held on the Great Salt Lake, sponsored by the local Elks Lodge and organized by the Mississippi Valley Amateur Rowing Association. The 5 participating clubs came from Chicago, St. Louis, Moline, and Grand Rapids. The saline water proved to be "the fastest in America for shell racing", and a new speed record was set by the St. Louis club (Outing Magazine, June 1889). None in OCLC.
