Early hand-drawn manuscript patterned after Brigadier General Louis Lebègue Duportail's plan of the Valley Forge encampment in 1777. Micro pinpricks along the ink delineations suggest this map was either copied from a contemporary version of Duportail's original, or possibly it served as a model from which other early copies may have been made.
