(VERNACULAR) Full-throttle mini-archive with 175 photographs documenting the Winston Finals, NHRA Drag Races, on Nov. 6, 8, and 9, 1997. This anonymous photographer positioned his camera on a fixed point in each of the races. "Suped-up" speeding dragsters brandishing corporate logos race down the roadway amidst colorful signage for MacDonalds, Budweiser, GMC Motorsports, etc., with rows of spectators seated in the background; also icludes a few scenes of hot rods on fire and funny cars leaping off the track.
