(VIETNAM WAR)
A group of approximately 67 press photographs on the ground in Vietnam.
About half of the photographs are from U.S. Army photographers and show both Vietnamese families and victims as well as soldiers manning artillery, flying helicopters, and charging positions. The other half largely U.S. Marines, as well as aerial shots, some North Vietnamese imagery, and more. Silver press and silver wire service prints, the images measuring 7 1/2x9 1/2 inches (19.1x24.1 cm.), and slightly smaller, and the reverse, about half with a U.S. Army photograph hand stamp and a typed caption and date; the rest with captions in the negative, or mimeographed caption labels, press clippings, hand stamps, date stamps, and/or notations, in pencil and/or ink, on verso; enclosed in a contemporary binder. 1962-67
