(VIEWERS) Coin-operated "Mutoscope." Manufactured by the International Mutoscope Reel Company. Red and navy painted steel, with a red eyepiece and metal hand-crank and coin slot; mounted on a steel frame; the overall height is 43 inches. When the coin is inserted and the electric light turned on, the user can turn the crank to view a flip-book style "motion pictures," in this case, stories depicting a brawl and couples at the beach. Pennies are collected in a lockable drawer below (keys are included). Circa 1926
