Isaac Hull, His Officers, and Gallant Crew." Several short tears in margins, one extending three inches into image, one-inch divot in lower margin, quarter-inch burn hole in lower right, tape repairs on verso; copyright date of 1813. American Battle Art 34; Stauffer 3206. Samuel Seymour, engraver. "This Representation of the U.S. Frigate United States . . . Capturing His Britannic Majesty's Frigate Macedonian . . . is Respectfully Inscribed to Capt. Stephen Decatur, his Officers and Gallant Crew." Minimal foxing, several short tears in margins with tape repairs on verso, lacking two inches from the lower right corner. Possibly a later impression, without the Philadelphia, May 1815 imprint line called for in Stauffer 2879.
