Additional Details

Nd: "Am sure you have been following the trial developments and are aware that there are two of us fighting our way thru this one. We expect with this particular judge and jury the conviction but are convinced we will win on appeal. Our family is doing OK . . . . My . . . frame of mind is unworried and unfettered--I know we are going to come out of this alright. We do have facing us the unreasonably excessive bail which the judge has imposed on the others who pleaded guilty, and we anticipate he will impose the same on us for the 4-6 weeks before sentence, should we be found guilty. . . . The bail is so high, $100,000, that I have to turn to friends for this help . . . ."
1973: ". . . Do you know of a market for the X-Ray unit we have? Am in the final stages of completion of a book, the costs of which we are financing. . . .
". . . Our business is continuing and the case is now in the appeals process and I remain out on bond through the months ahead before it will be heard. We are very optimistic about the outcome because of the perjury and many other areas of appeal. . . ."
